Bradley Method childbirth classes

The Bradley® Method is natural childbirth education which prepares expectant parents for the most challenging and rewarding work of their lives. We believe that the more you know, the more confident and relaxed you will be in labor. Of over 200,000 Bradley-trained couples nationwide, over 86% of them have had spontaneous, unmedicated vaginal births! The standard 12-week Bradley series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. Classes cover the following topics:

  1. Introduction / Exercises /Relaxation /Staying healthy and low-risk pregnany
  2. Nutrition in Pregnancy / Physiology / Reducing Common Discomforts
  3. The Coach’s Role
  4. First Stage Labor
  5. Planning Your Birth – including individual guidance in creating your ideal birth with the medical setting you have chosen
  6. Variations & Complications – including potential benefits & risks of analgesia and anesthesia
  7. Postpartum Preparation
  8. Breastfeeding

And much more!

The next series begins Sunday, January 29th and the one after that begins Monday, February 20th, after that our next group will begin on April 22nd.  Both groups meet at 5:30, and generally run for 2 - 2.5 hours. You can register for these classes here.
